I am really fed up of being nice.

Why is it always I am the one who is always worrying about others and always ready to offer any help? Because of this nature of mine, I have suffered a lot; people always take advantage out from me, whether it is in case of borrowing some money or some commodities. Why the people whom I know are like this. They seem very polite, kind and loyal when they wanted something from us. But when it is time to return something or when it’s their turn to help, they always vanished. We can’t find them anywhere or in some cases they act as if they don’t know us at all.
So I have promised myself that I won’t help anyone in near future. But I happened to read a called “You can win” by Shiv Khera.; In that book, he has said very good thing about attitude.
According to him, It’s very important to have a good attitude in every pace of your life. People gets everything in life not because they are well educated but because they are of good attitude which makes be optimistic.
Why is positive thinking and positive attitude important in business?
Positive thinking concept says that thoughts have a power to manifest themselves in reality. This in itself shows the importance of positive thinking not only in business but also in life.
And for people who do not believe in the power of thoughts, having a positive attitude is still important because of the other advantages which it has. To mention a few, a positive attitude
1. Increases productivity
2. Fosters teamwork
3. Solves problems
4. Improves quality
5. Makes for congenial atmosphere
6. Breeds loyalty
7. Increases profits
8. Fosters better relationships with employers, employees, and customers.
9. Reduces stress
10. Helps a person become a contributing member of society and an asset to their country.
11. Makes pleasant personality.
He has also mentioned that most people get promotion and raise not because they are highly and well educated but only due to the reason that they are of good attitude. According to his experience with most of the companies, the employee want staff with good attitude rather than one who has high degree in education but can’t be trusted.
This book has proved me wrong and in fact taught me that being nice to others is in fact very good attitude and only some people acquire this quality. Being nice, kind and polite to others are the characteristics which are very hard to perceive. Our attitude affects the people around us. One with positive attitude sends positive vibrations to his surroundings. Being positive about life or having positive attitude means that you are satisfied, content, confident, happy with the life of yours.
For me being positive means to enjoy each and every moments of my life with everyone around us and always being nice. I don’t want to die thinking that I have done mistakes in my life or I have hurt him or her. I want to live happily always and die with no regrets or secrets within me.
It always feels nice to be nice to others and I don’t regret it. I think its foolish of me to be fed up of being nice to others.I was thinking this before because people not appreciating or seeing that I am helping them. May be I was dying to hear some praise or good words from them. That’s childish and selfish. Now I realize that I am nice because I love myself that way and which satisfies me.

We all feel like that. I know how you feel. I prayed with a guy at work and he stabbed me in the back. If not literally, figuratively nearly getting fired over his lies. I know it hurts but we need to put that in God’s hands. When we do good to them, we heap coals upon their heads the bible says. So I try to do like my master, not always in the right way, but boy I get chastised when I don’t. That just means he loves us. We all struggle. All people in the bible aren’t perfect but Christ. They all have failings and that is what shows us how perfect he is. So pray for me and i’ll pray for you, strengthening each other.

there’s no way to fake being nice. you either are or you aren’t and you’re just one of those lovely people who are naturally nice. don’t hide it or regret it. it’s people like you who make the world such an inviting place…
