All the Tibetans around the world has started protesting against Chinese Government from 10 March,2008. Each year on 10th of March, all of Tibetans in exile(Tibetan Refugees) around the world participate in a rally to mark the The Tibetan Uprising Day. March 10, is very important day for every Tibetan around the world. On this particular day, all the tibetans have come into exile. OR should I say they have fled from their country Tibet to escape the torture and autocracy of Chinese Government. As far as I am concern, it has been 49 years on Last 10 th March, since these people have left their country and spending their live as a refugee in several countries viz, India, Nepal, Bhutan, etc.

I have earlier mention about March 10, as the protests of recent March 10,2008 has lasted this long, till today and I don’t think it will end at this time. You can still see the protest conducted by not only Tibetan people but other foreigners around the world. And i don’t think it is necessary to mention against whom they are protesting. In the past years, such protests used to last only for some hours nearly 1-2, i.e less than a day. But This time, the protest has already completed 25 days. The recent unrest and killings in Tibet has added fuel to this protest, which has occured in Tibet after 10 of March.

While watching these protests in News channels, it was a pity to watch policemen lathi-charging(beating with thick bamboo sticks) the monks on their heads, in Tibetan community monks are the one whom Tibetan people respected the most and it is a great sin to touch their balds and beating directly on the head was really unbearable and wild act. As the beating scene was unbearable to watch, I was thinking how the Tibetan were killed in Tibet?

I salute all the Tibetans around the world for being together at the time of grief and sorrow and also for their peace protests. The peace protest has been welcomed by all the people around the world. My deep concern and thanks to all the Tibetan who are sitting on 24-hour fast relay at Swoyambhunth, kathamndu. Specially those elders who are so active and have deep concern for their country Tibet and of course their Spiritual leader H.H The Dalai Lama. I was very impressed by their spirits and patroitism when I have participated in this fasting protest on the initial day.You can read more about recent protests and this fasting at www.phayul.com .

Don’t worry all the efforts of the Tibetans have not been wasted. Finally, The Chinese govt. has shown some willingness to talk about the Tibet. Pls visit the following link.

I hope and pray that this time positive and win-win results will come out from this talk unlike before. A heartfelt condolence to all the Tibetans who have lost their lives in the protests. May their souls rest in peace in heaven. And deep concern and salute to those who have actively participated and hurt on these protest. To the TIbetan elders who are plus 60 but are genuinely taking part in this protest. You will succeed this time as the whole world is with us this time.
